My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were not ready for us, facing onto a hillside garden, which made for a reasonably quiet atmosphere. The location was superb, offering a perfect 15-minute lakeside walk to the town itself. The dining experience was very good, especially with tasty Sri Lankan dishes on offer. However, the noise levels until quite late were a bit of a downside.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was lovely with a nice balcony view, but the noise from the staircase was bothersome. The service was exceptional, especially with resolving an issue. The location by the lake was fantastic, but there were some monkeys around. The dining around the pool was excellent, but not exceptional compared to other stays.
